Instead of giving you a generic look of how the home buying process works, I’m taking you with me. I'll update you on my home buying process from start to finish.
I’ve got some exciting news to share today. I am currently in the process of purchasing a home down here in Florida! I thought it would be a great idea to do a series of videos and articles to give you an insight on the home-buying process that I am experiencing first-hand.
Step one in this process is talking with a lender. I’ve already done that, and I also just got my pre-qualification letter. The next step is finding the right home. I was able to do that because I had access to the MLS. You also have access to the MLS through my website.
Now, the next step is to sit down with my Realtor and write an offer. That pre-qualification letter will really help my offer stand out to the seller. They will know for sure that I am able to afford the house. To help write the offer, I also had my Realtor pull up a CMA, or comparative market analysis. This is where we take a look at similar homes in the area that have sold to help us figure out what to offer on the home.
